I should clarify my "no ice" comment. I still see a bit of ice in the rod guides with Micro Ice, but no chunks on the line itself. With mono, there's always that ball of ice that forms where the line enters the water - and then jams against the tip guide when you reel in. The doesn't happen with Micro Ice.
