Whats Your Preference...bucket or chair

Even with a chair, i would ALWAYS have a bucket. Too useful as a rod and gear carrier, rod holder, emergency seat, homemade jaw-jacker, and "a million household uses".

I like a higher chair, though, like the directors chair. I have a square bottomed low-slung chair like yours-ish, but I can't get out of it fast enough in an emergency. (it's the best for napping and chilling, though.

I, like Packfan, end up on my knees a lot, looking right down the hole and finger on the hookset trigger. So, I also include some of those puzzle-piece floor mats, cut down to fit in my sled to keep my knees dry.

I like to drill a hole in the side of my buckets, close to the rim, to put the rod butt in when resting the rod across the rim of the bucket, in order to prevent rod theft by unexpectedly large fish.
