I bet you're right about the tiger muskies making them stack up. The hardest part when they are that thick is that it seems the larger ones are towards the bottom of the herd. So how do you get past the little guys and into the big ones, especially considering you have to jig them up?
What I mean is you can get past the little ones on the initial drop, but with my flasher I will have one from the bottom of the pack follow up the jig then a new red line shows up and I have a fish on and the one that was following it up will slowly descend back to where it was before.
Oh well, there are still some in the group that you can get a filet off.
