Many Thanks for the enlightenment. Flasher are something I have no experience with so I appreciate your perspective. Fishing can get real expensive if you just keep upgrading to the newest, latest greatest.
I migrated from a paper graph to Lowrance X-60 to Lowrance X107 color over 25 years. For Ice fishing I still use the X-60.
Paper was messy and expensive but was a quality fish graph that when used properly did everything anyone would want.
The X-60 is powerful and much smaller. does everything the paper did but not much more. No Paper is the +.
The X-107 color added the color which helps these old eyes when viewing the screen, but actual milestone improvements I cant see where much has changed.
This conclusion could be due to the fact that I am not using the new stuff to the max or that those first paper units were pretty amazing.
