Simple question (or not). Flasher or sonar?

On my Lowrance I consider the rightmost vertical column of pixels to be real time. Same sonar technology doing the detection, just a different method of displaying the info. Everything left of that first vertical column is the History that most flashers don't provide. I like the history function.
