My old boat came with a 24 volt terrova 80 I pilot no link not a hummingbird finder and as mentioned it is life changing! Spot lock works fantastic and is a must if you want to jig for macks. and trolling with or without a kicker going is about the best thing ever. It was 16 foot smoker craft with 27 batteries. I never ran them dead. I did loose a seal on the motor that caused problems eventually and I came to the conclusion that I didn't want to go fishing if I didn't have my terrova! I got it fixed asap! Finding someone to work on it is pretty tricky and I ended up buying the parts and fixing it myself. My new boat came with a terrova 80 I pilot link and a big fancy hummingbird. It works great also in all the same ways. I have not used the link function yet in 20 plus days fishing. It might be great but I wouldn't know. I do miss the remote from the old one it was about 1/4 the size and had a rabbit function which toggled the motor to full speed and back to where it was in one push. That was kind of handy. Link one doesn't do that. Anyway you will want the onboard charger and at least the 80 and you can say goodbye to stress when controlling your boat.
