Deep cycle batteries

I have an optima yellow top battery in my truck and it has worked great! I have had it in there for about 5 years now and it runs my truck and my upgraded stereo just fine. The surprising part is there have been weeks at a time in the winter when I haven't started it and it fires my truck up just fine. It was pretty spendy but my opinion is that I want something reliable and am willing to pay the money to not have to worry. I can't speak for the blue tops but I would say they would be just as reliable.
