] Thanks guys. I appreciate the help. I think I'll give the 14# Fireline a try this weekend. I already have it spooled on a couple of baitcasters. I also use a fluorocarbon leader of 10 or 12# test. I do think it makes a big difference. I join the Fireline and fluorocarbon with a back-to-back uni-knot. It's easy to tie, is strong and slips through the guides easily. Thanks again for the help.
