I think that battery unit I ordered looks like a great help, I just hope it's good quality. I probably need to find out where your rec outlet is and check out one of those solar charger units. But if I get a FF I might not do it this trip. I sure know how to spend lots of money, no end to the toys for big boys. Maybe it's too far over the top to want sonar on back country lakes, but sure would be fun to fish for fish that don't see much tackle in a year. I'll bet I can even catch one there. If not I'll be pretty disappointed. Later J
