That's yet to be seen, but I have really gotten tired of sleds over running me when I go down hill, so I tried to make a design that will at least let me know it's time to get out of the way... I have friends that use this design for pulling sleds behind wheelers or snowmobiles and it keeps their sleds from getting wrapped around the wheels or tracks... So I think it will be better, but I'm not sure I can hold it back with a big load... In that case I may want a rope on the back to lower the load with the rope... I used conduit for each of the sides and I think it was 4' lengths...I have pivot points on both ends allowing adjustable widths and keeping things from binding up, it seems to be working good so far, but no real hill experience yet...
