Launched the tube from western shore access around 7:30 and hit a few right away stripping Midnight Fire Bugger before turning over to chironomids around 8:00a. Fishing pupae patterns about 8ft below an indicator provided steady action until ~10:30a when the WIND came up! Things got difficult from there on. The water seemed to take on a “green tea” color after lunch and the water temps actually DROPPED despite the abundant sunshine from 42* F when we launched to close to 40* F when we left. Thinking the lake could have been turning over which may have put the fish into a funk as they shut down on us completely. Strange thing was all fish landed, save for one, were rainbows. Biggest was a tad over 18in and fat as a football. Better days ahead.
