Shipping a rod
#1
Well, UPS finally managed to do it. I finished a nice G. Loomis C724 GL2 for a customer in IL. Took 3 weeks to get the blank, 2 weeks (working evenign and weekends) to build the rod. Shipped it out packed in a PVC tube after wrapping it in bouble wrap. Took 7 days for the package to get from TX to IL and when it arrived there was about 18" of the tube missing, broken off, completely gone, along with both grips and reel seat.

Searching for kevalar tubes now.........

Lee
Lee's Custom Rods
"Quality is the product of crasftsmanship"
