Nice work on the cats and carp. Keep the former exercised and thin the herd on the latter.
I keep telling everybody that the best is yet to come on the big cats. If you create the opportunities you will get a shot at something bigger.
Just one word of advice. Don't go after carp with your new white bass lure. Those big nasties tear them up something fierce.
We were seeing quite a few carp Tuesday too...singles and groups...cruising the surface. Poor Chuck was getting so desperate for some tugs that he was even making casts to those carp. But those istic buglemouths just rubbed it in and flipped him the fin. (rhymes, don't it?) It would have been great for the fly flingers who like to sight cast to carp. The water was fairly clear and you could get close to the fish too.
