I heard that there was another of them hanging around, they are taking over the DWR !! Actually I have great respect for the whole Hepworth family. Have know Dale for a long time, just met Richard, and if PBH is another, heaven help us !!
As to just dumping Red Ear's into Powell, that is what cannot happen. Although DWR has the control of management, that could change if something like that happens. Let's work with the system and do it the right way.

I think Shane was just kidding with this statement[:/]:
Wayne should just dump in Red-ears without permission, it worked out fine for him with the smallies.
PBH- if you did not want this info to get out I'll delete my comments.

Wh2 -- no worries.
Therapist -- are you part of the committee?
Masterdaad / Therapist -- at your next meeting, corner Dale. Ask him his history with Powell, and how he fits into the mix with striped bass. You'll see a whole new picture of how all of this comes together (Powell, Wayne, my dad, Richard....).

Yes, I was just poking a little fun at the history of Powells smallies ( if you don't know what I am talking about please refer to WaynesWords).

PBH everyone knows who he is.
This is my take on the big pond: Yes drop the red ears in to help slow the ugliness down. This is going to be one Hell of a Walleye fishery in ten years. Me and my buds LOVE it.

The obstacles to redears are not insurmountable to be sure.
I am cautious in my statements because there are additional voices at the table when it comes to Lake Powell that make it somewhat different than other Utah lakes.
But if I were a betting man, I'd lay pretty heavy odds that Redear will be part of the management plan moving forward.
As for timeframe... I wouldn't be surprised if it happens before the end of the year, and I would be surprised if it's not done by 2016.
But please note these are my opinions as a sportsman participant.
