Echo...Haven't fished it since 2013 so didn't know what to expect.. headed out about 0730 and there were people everywhere. we started drilling holes and about our 10th hole the finder lit up and we never moved. The action was as fast as you could get to the bottom and lure choice didn't matter. I changed lure selection every 15-20 min to see if anything else would produce bigger fish but nothing. The fish were on the very small side and 4-5" we did keep a batch of 6-8" siz to fillet for chowder. Kids got bored of catching and went sledding for an hr or so. My boy did catch a bonus trout.
44+' of water anything less than that and the bottom was flat lined..

Starvation....We got on the ice about 0800 and the drilling began it never ended till 1015 when we decided to leave. We didn't mark one fish on the graph. Dropped on a few spots that looked promising but nothing. There was only one other group out there with us and they were zero as well. When we left we did see one group south of the bridge. Ice was okay had the wheeler out there pulling our equipment around. Hope it gets better..

Big Sand Wash....We did salvage the day and the perch were biting just like at echo on sat. We were in 36+ fow and it was non-stop action. Fish were tight to the bottom and every 20 min or so we would site fish them as they would come way up the water column, that was cool. a few in the 9" range but nothing bigger and most were about 5". Didn't matter what we used as long as there was bait on it you would get bit. another 100+ fish day

Guess I will head back to PV for crappie as they are bigger than any of the perch we have been catching.
