Jordanelle 1/28/17
#1
Fished Rock Cliff at Jordanelle with three friends today. One angler had promised his girl friend that if she didn't catch a fish at Jordanelle today that he would jump in the lake and catch one for her. He was probably grateful when she caught her first fish through the ice (I think that she had been skunked at least twice before) and then she proceeded to catch several more perch and rainbows, in the couple hours that they were there. The action was fast for planter rainbows and a few perch.

PS - lots of approximately 8" deep slush everywhere off of the beaten path.

I'm glad Dave (?) was able to catch some fish. It would have been awfully cold for a polar plunge today. As always, it was a fun day on the deck.

Thanks Kent for taking us fishing Saturday. Ann and I will enjoy the trout for dinner today. It was a gorgeous day to be outside and we appreciate your help cutting the holes and advice for the tackle. After her experience at the Fish Lake perch tournament, Ann had earned a day of blue-sky ice fishing and a few fish for the table.
