If visiting Deer Creek or Lake Powell here are couple additional (and easy) requirements you'll want to be aware of...

Odd. I didn't think that was new.

I thought it has been against the law for a while to travel with the plug in your boat.

Maybe I read that in another state's regs somewhere...

I like this part
(Owens said juvenile mussels have not been found at Deer Creek since they were initially discovered in October 2014. If biologists don’t find mussels at the reservoir this year, the water will be declared free of mussels in 2018. However, to be safe, the requirements will be mandatory for 2017.)

still waiting for a day to go to deer Creek I don't like going down the ramp with snow on the ramp.

I thought its was SOP just to leave the plug out until you prep to launch again, at least that how I do it.

I was also under the impression it was already against the law to travel with the plug in, in fact the place I bought my boat from told me that.

Either way a good reminder. I know on the south end of the lake they are getting bad and visible on rocks, ropes and boats. When you are up at bullfrog do you see many of them?
