Strawberry 3/3 Conditions

Best part of the trip was the amazing weather and no crowds.

Fishing was good. A lot of fish moving under the finder more than were takers of the bait. Couldn't find the bows this trip?

Road and marina parking lot snow covered but OK with 2wd.

Travel on the ice only by sled or foot. There is a foot of light snow from the storm earlier in the week on top of the ice. You would need just the right setup to get a wheeled rig traveling anywhere. There were lots of packed sled tracks going every which way so if you are on foot take one of their trails to your spot.

Good news no slush. The ice didn't seem as thick as it was a couple of weeks ago but still layered and safe. Edges are solid.

Thanks for the report. Planning on going up this weekend.

What DOW were you fishing in?

We were in 24 ft with fish being caught between 12 to 24 ft. Mixed catching between jigging and dead stick. Meal, wax and dirt worms worked about the same to tip the jig with.
Didn't try any other depth because we were catching them.
