Road on the west side of EC

I should have called yesterday but forgot...does that road on the west side of East Canyon Reservoir ever open and if so, when? I'm talking about the dirt road that runs about halfway up the reservoir from the campgrounds at the south end. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure that road is private and your chances of using it is slim to none

It is indeed private, wasn't always closed though before some drama caused it to become so. I have walked the road before to access the shoreline a few years back, one of the landowners drove by and waved, so I would imagine that if you have a rod in your hand and are on the road or below it you should be fine.
