I am lucky enough to be going to lake powell next week all week. I've never been there, got any advice for where to find walleye and bass? We will be somewhere between bullfrog and good hope

Find structure, whether it be rock slides that protrude into the water or brush and trees in the back of coves. Structure has always been the key for me. I like to throw soft plastics usually in crawdad colors, crank baits and swim baits. A good ole night crawler threaded on your hook will do it also. I'm envious, have a great time and take some sunscreen. Don't forget a few anchovies if your camping. Let them soak over night and you'll wake up to a cat or striper.

You are lucky!
I camped in Forgotten last week and had a blast.
Mud line was near GH and stained water was past Forgotten and headed to Moki.
Debris is bound to be at GH by now, be careful.

I went down last year in April, stayed at bulldog fished for 2 days, sat in the rain for 2 days. Found walleye in the cloudy water in the back of the bays. Three nice large mouths and a few crappie at the creeks where they drain into bulldog bay. If you have a good boat go up the lake checking backs of the canyons.

We ended up catching quite a few bass fishing last weekend with tube jigs, brawly bugs, and bright crankbaits (in the stained water) Didn't really matter what canyon you went into, or really what depth you are fishing, they were from 20' up to 5' in the water column.
good luck!
