I believe the marina is not renting boats yet, but you can call and ask.

I have never camped there before but I'm taking our scouts to Strawberry Friday. I understand the campsites don't have any services yet but that there is a restroom by the Marina store. Any recommendations on where we should camp, with good access to the lake to fish? We may have canoes or may be on shore.
Tackle recommendations would be good as well.
Thanks!

I think the campgrounds are scheduled to open Friday, May 12th. Loop F is fairly close to the marina - you could just walk in. I was up there today. There is still some snow, but it is going fast. Temp this morning was around 25. Dress warm.

please don't take scouts to camp and canoe at strawberry ,it is still way early with deadly cold water and snow on the ground . you be better off at almost any other lake , i would recommend deer creek but still don;r advise canoes.

I think you would be better off at east canyon. Less cold there at night. Better facilities right now. Fishing will be just as good, maybe better with recent stockings. Strawberry isn't good camping until the end of May, really mid June is better still.
