Hit Goshen Bay this morning from 6 till 10. Couldn't buy a bite from 6 to 9 but caught 3 nice fish from 9 to 10. Half a perch was my bait, fished on the bottom. Had two fish break me off in vegetation, until I upped my leader strength. Fun morning. Nothing huge but one was 27"
Forgot my camera dang it.

Nice outing, but I have found 10lb plus line on cats is a must... Most of mine is braid once I get cattin in the summer, they love to get in the cover and either work free or break off... I tried to take the break off option away from them... Thought you'd be farming now and not have time to catch fish?.... I'm going nuts not being able to go chase the fins... Thanks for the report... J
