Nobody else is reporting, so thought I'd better, even if it isn't a good one.....4 Koke lures in water by 0730, and we tried to do the triangle/quadrangle trolling tour, staying about 75 to 85 FOW..., and dragging all sorts of can't miss goodies, 14 to 29 ft.....buddy's first fish (abt 1000) an 8" koke releaser, then (abt 1030) my first fish, a 17" cutt releaser....then (abt 1130) buddy's 14" keeper cutt, and (abt 1200) my only keeper, 16.5" (surprise) kokanee! at 14'.. We each had a few other lite taps, and one more 8" koke to send back, but it was just plain slow for 5 hrs trolling...great to get out there for the first time of this season, and I know there'll be days like this, and better ones to come.......so we weren't skunked, but about as close as you can get...

Thanks for the update. It is definitely taking some work right now to put kokes in the boat.

Good to have you on the site ---- if you are trying for Kokanee you're probably going to be trolling --- although I know some very effective fishermen will jig for them up at the Gorge; I don't know about jigging at Strawberry.....so were you seeing or catching Kokanee at 20' on your last trip?

Thanks its good to be on this site.
I am getting back into fishing after 30 years of worrying about golf LOL.
I bought me a boat and am back at it at Strawberry also learning the new tricks out there.
We did see allot of Kokes at 20-30 feet, I caught 3 at those depths.
I was fishing lower but a few gents told me to fish higher.
Looking forward to my fishing retirement and reports on this site.
