Fished on free fishing day with my son, dil and grandson since they are from Preston. Pretty slow catching but did get some.

Those are some nice fish Rod, it sounds like Sat was a lot slower than Fri.

It was very slow, 5 fish in 7 hrs. I should've changed tactics maybe. We talked to some guys anchored in front of the north marina and hadn't caught anything in 5 hrs.

Two weeks ago, I'd would have been very happy with 5 fish in 7 hrs. At that time we were only catching 1 or 2 fish on each trip but that all changed later in that week. That being said, it still is nothing like it was in years past, this could just be a slow year, at least it has started off a lot slower.
