Pineview or deer creek for quantity

Taking my 10 year old out this eve in boat and he wants to get some crappie or small bass. It is just about quantity/bites. Which do you recommend? Thank you.

Deer Creek is really hard to beat for a bunch of smallies. Haven't been to pview recently enough to give an honest opinion on if the crappies would be faster fishing than the DC smallies. They're both pretty far from each other so I guess go to the closest one?

I haven't been to Pineview this year but the reports come in have said the Crappie fishing hasn't bee good. I'd hit Deer Creek.

I've targeted crappie at Pineview multiple times in the last month and only did okay once. The rest was very slow. Targeted flooded brush around the lake from a boat.
