My wife, daughter, nephew and I spent the weekend at Strawberry, we got there Thursday night and set up camp. Friday morning my nephew and I launched the boat at 5:30am and started fishing out in the middle of the Triangle off of the Marina and had both of our limits by 8 am, including a 4 lb. hog, the second fish of the day. We spent the rest of the day catching crawdads and napping, until heading out after dinner with my wife and daughter who added three more kokes to the Box for a total of 11 for the day. Saturday was slower, at 11am I was unhooking our 6th for the day and the fish rolled in the net driving a hook deep into my thumb well past the bard. we stayed out for another hour trying to finish our limits but to no avail we headed in and I made a quick trip the the Insta-Care in Park City and had the hook removed. The whole family went out after dinner again and the girls added 3 more fish for the day, for a total of 9 for Saturday. Sunday was brutally slow we only hooked three by 10 am two of which came unbuttoned, so only 1 for the day Sunday; we packed up and headed home. We caught them equally on pink and orange between 25 and 35ft, with 33 being the sweet spot going between 1.5 and 2.19 mph most the the fish in the morning where caught out in front of the marina with the evening fish where caught near Hawes Point and a couple where caught later in the morning near Mud Creek, that's where I hooked myself. The weekend total was 21.
