Hand-made rod tube (Brag)

Sorry about "bragging"...but craftsmanship like this has to be shared.
Several months ago I saw a picture on the internet of a wooden rod tube that a guy had built. I showed the picture to my dad....he is an excellent wood-worker and a fine craftsman.
After that I thought nothing of it.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago and he shows up to my house and hands me a birthday present.
I am not sure how long it took him to build it.
The pictures just do not do this rod tube justice. It's incredible.
I had to share with those who I thought would appreciate it.
Not a tube I would let bounce around the back of the truck or want to pack on a trip - so the chance of showing it off to everyone is minimal. So I thought I would post it here so I could share with others.

I only have a couple of rods worth more then that case. It is outstanding for sure.

And to think I use PVC with screw on ends. LOL I guess we would never get our rods mixed up.
