E-lake Slamon slam
#1
went up to E-lake yesterday and had the best Salmon day to date. for me that is.. lol we got there about 8'ish and had the first hit before the bubble up. miss it, not long after that i hooked the first Kokanee on a dodger and Squid, shortley after that had about a 4 lbs tiger brake my squid off right at the boat.. then i went on a Kokanee run catching 4 in a row and missing twice that many my buddy was hitting some on the pop gear but the dodgers were kicking it so he finley changed to a dodger and started catching Kokanee on the pop gear lol on the other pole.. so we were hitting fish steady all day tell baout 3'ish the a thunder bumper come rolling down the pike and caught us on the wrong side of the lake.. got real wet and cold.. fish turned right off after that.. so trolled back to the truck with out a hit loaded up..

the water has cleared up a lot the last week fishing was so much better..

I'm glad someone can catch those little buggers up there. lol

Looking at your picture, I wonder if my squid is too close to the dodger. I am going about 12". Yours looks more like 18-24". What dodger are you using?
Who knows? maybe I am over thinking it.

lol yeah mine is about 18 inchs from the dodger.. pink squid seemed to work best but did have hit's on a green and white with silver dakota blade, yellow and glow, and just a silver dakota and glow beads. the p-line micro squid out did all tho.. we ran dodgers and pop gear. silver seems to be what they want at 30 to 40 feet. i was running stackers and got hit high and low about the same.. here is a pic of the 3 best rig's we used yesterday.
