Starvation late last week

We did a trip up to Starvation Wed-Sat last week and had a great time. We caught lots of small walleye, some great size trout and managed a few smallies and one special perch that ran into a rattle trap almost as big as it was. We camped in Rabbit Gulch and had some luck there but then moved over by the bridge and did better in that area for the last two days.

Had most luck trolling fire tiger rapalas and rattle traps, Wasn't fast and furious but consistent enough to keep the wives entertained and it's always fun to catch a little variety.

Thanks for the report. Those small walleye sure are tasty. We have had luck jigging pink Maniac cutter bugs tipped with a piece of crawler. My wife has fun catching them and I get to enjoy eating them.
