Well I can't thank everyone enough for leaving after labor day. It was some of the best fishing I have had in a long time. I don't keep the fish unless I have to I just catch and release. All cuts on Tuesday lost count after 12 fish in 3 hrs. Then went out on Wednesday and used the same set up depth and area and only caught small rainbow's and again 12 plus fish in 3 hrs. Thursday out same everything and caught a mixture of fish and even a chub which was weird. NothING was huge but they all put up a fight. Got to love a small fish who acts like a huge aggressive wiper. But is only a small trout. I bet there was only 4 boats at the most out on the water when we were out there.

Being retired is nice. That's why I don't fish weekends, too many boats. And with all the people fishing for Kokes this year even weekdays are getting crowded. Best fishing of the year at Strawberry is about to start.
