Headed out this weekend. The fishing was extremely slow, we ended up with 2 trout and a small mouth. On the way out we talked to other boaters with the same luck. Hopefully with the storms passing next week will be better.

Fishing at starvation this time of the year is all about locating the fish.
Did you use a boat? Have sonar?
I sometimes call it fish hunting.
Thanks

We do have a boat and sonar. I was marking fish but I couldn't find anything they wanted. There is always next time though

I was up there Saturday. I struggled to find any fish that weren't grouped up. I was targeting smallies and did well but I didn't get the usual bows and eyes mixed in. I think the cold front that came through didn't help. It has been an amazing year up there for me so I guess it was a humbling moment. I made up for it the next day at Strawberry but I had to brave the weather.
