Pineview crappie
#1
When for Crappie at Pineview this morning from the pictures look like a beautiful day and it was. The trouble is none of the fish wanted to bite. There were four or five other boaters and I saw two crappie caught and released.
The sonar was full of fish on both sides of the narrows.
Wind came at 11 o'clock
I do expect some good ice fishing. Come on the cold temperatures.

Did you find any fish up in 25 fow? Seems like last year that was the depth they were when the feeding was most active in the fall... Thanks for the report... J

Yes saw at many depths. One small mouth fisher was 20 feet from shore in about 20 feet deep. Steep shore with lots of rocks on the shore going down in to the water. He caught two crappie. Saw him loose three jigs in the rocks. Lots of tite schools no biters.

Nice to meet you today. Thanks for the help with my toon. The wind made for some tough fishing.....as well as the closed lips.

Thanks for the info, guess one of these days they'll turn on and it'll get hot. Hope so anyway. Finding them is half the battle now just figure out how to turn on the bite reflex. Wish I had a magic secret that I could pass on to you, but I haven't learned it yet. Good luck. J
