Took my lovely five year old granddaughter fishing today. It started with an ice cream at Arctic Circle and ended with a fish dinner. She caught nine trout, including the first fish of the day. I caught three, one using her pole. We had five on the stringer and were ready to go since she was getting cold so I asked her to bring her line in. Just then, the bobber ducked under and it was "fish on". It was her biggest one so she wanted to keep it. After taking care of her fish, we decided again to leave, so I grabbed my pole to bring my bait in and it was bobber deja vu time. You just can't let something like that go unanswered. It was even bigger, so we kept it. We had a delicious fish dinner. She ate two. We had so much fun. Four of the fish on the stringer are hers.
