Deer Creek 12/1/17
#1
Myself and two friends fished Dear Creek last Friday
Caught and released close to twenty RB's. Started about 9:00 AM and was off the water by 2:00 PM . Water and weather were beautiful.
We were trolling dodgers with pink squids tip with a worm.
used lead line out about 85 to 100 feet and speed about 1.5 to 2mph

I forgot to say that when we were taking our boat out a
fish and game officer came by and told us that as of
January 1 2018 we will NOT have to have our boats
decontaminated after being in Dear Creek !!

your right on that. I love fishing DC but the thought of waiting in line with the water ski boats to be washed off before I left made me choose other waters to fish

The scam to charge all of us boat owners an extra $10/year in registration fees paid off!
Now do the math: An extra ten bucks a year x's the amount of registered boats in Utah for the rest of our lives.
I think to make it fair as long as your boat is currently registered you should not have to pay to use a State owned boat ramp.

That is real good news, I was hoping that would happen. Now if they would let me take my dog in the boat.....
