Its already swiss cheese! Poor little pond gets pounded anymore! But yes its safe I've been the last 4 weekend's and progressively more people and much slower fishing!

Its borderline silly how busy Vernon has been. I hauled my cattle home and came past there last Friday. 28 ice tents and many others I didn't count sitting on buckets. The DWR says the ice is 6 or 7 inches but over where the pipeline from Bennion Creek comes in there is still a large amount of open water. Folks must be catching a few but it was last stocked in October and has been hit hard, to me, ever since. Even though it's my home pond, I wont fish it til it doesn't look like the mall parking lot.
