That's not a report. That's either a teaser, or a gloat. [Tongue]

I'm thinking the future of the perch fishery might be bright for PV. Maybe next year we can save the long drive to Cascade and still catch some decent size perch.

[#0000FF]You done good. But as we both know, sometimes it don't make no nevermind if you tell them where you got them, what you were using and how you worked it. Some tanglers can't catch fish on the right bait in the right place...fishing exactly how you are.

That was kinda harsh. Being honest about it, I have been one of those snakebit anglers watching newbies and unsophisticated fellow anglers taking me to school. But I got no pride.

Probably one of the biggest problems with someone else going back and even fishing out of your "hot" holes is that the fish are fickle. Those larger perch can be especially exasperating. They move in and turn on at one time one day...and then turn off sometime later...and may have a completely different location and schedule the next day. Makes sense though. Most of those larger perch are females.

[#0000FF]I think we have all "been there"...both catching and non-catching. It's great when you got the hot hand but really sucks when you can't join the party.

No need to get paranoid. People say I'm paranoid, but that's 'cause they are out to get me.
