I would like to catch a few white bass for catfish bait. Can anybody point me to a specific spot around Lincoln Beach where I might do some good?

The white bass tend to travel in schools and they are always on the move. The exception is when love calls and they find a suitable trysting place -- then they hold to the area. They seem to favor rocky areas, often very shallow.
Try Mulberry Access point past the orchards. Any flashy spinner or curly tail jig should produce. Take a bucket with you... better still, take a kid with you.

Thanks, BLK. I've driven that road many times and could never pinpoint a good fishing spot. I'll give it a try. Looks like it could be good for cats, too.
