Hey Angler's. I'm still pitching.
Got some helpers out to the river to give it a try.

I told em I'd take them rfishing, and they did some catching too.
The carp was a toad on light tackle. The baby channel was way finicky!

May not have found fish worth table fare, we made up for it with the wild asparagus hunt.
Nice day out with my best catch ever.

Nice report Yote, no crappie in that spot? Haven't seen many fishing that area this spring so I figured they must not be biting like years past... Glad to see ya back out again... I got skunked Saturday AM shift... from the boat out of marina.. How did the crew like the fishing? Looks like the eating was worth the trip... Later J
