We launched out of the Dam after the rain yesterday hoping to get some water time in before the next CFF. Ran to our first spot and on my third cast I caught a 2.5 pounder on a morning dawn worm. Fished a few more minutes before we caught the biggest fish, 4.05 on a senko outside the grass. Continued to catch fish right outside the grass before hooking the biggest fish and day and losing it on a senko as I just could not turn her. Finally, as I was complaining about getting the third fish we caught another that weighed right at 3 pounds to finish out a small limit. We caught 12 more fish, upgrading the smallest a few times to end up with around 10 pounds. Had three big fish blowup on a Sammy, but no hookups. All fish caught on Stickbaits, worms and creature baits. Headed home around 10pm. Wished I could have fished later because it felt like a perfect night for fishing.
