bear river Monday night

I have been hitting the river really hard. most of the time it has been little guys. Seen Tin Can on Sunday nether one of us did much I caught 4 cats that couldn't even reach the 20 mark on a tape. Tried it Monday morning came home stinky. went back down in the evening. just before sunset my rod bent half way over, that got me excited hadn't had a hit like that in a long while. Landed a nice 29.5"er then a 25 last one was 24"er. I really wanted to stay longer but I had told the Mrs. no later than midnight. So even though I felt there were more out there I packed it up at 11:45 and headed home. [inline IMG_5688.JPG]

Nice cat Ahi. I been Utah for 17 years and have never fished the Bear River or the Refuge. Maybe some day you could give some pointers. Always great to meet new folks and possibly share a fishing hole.
