Camping and fishing

Thinking about heading out and doing some fishing with a buddy of mine. We want to tent camp (hopefully for free) and catch fish for a day or two. Any suggestions that aren’t more than 2 hours away from Saint George?

There are lots of places you could try down there but it depends on what you want to catch? If you don't care what kind of fish you catch, try Newcastle, it is West of Cedar city.

Thankyou for the reply. I’m a trout and bass guy but open to anything. What species are in Newcastle? And are the campsites. Also do you have any other suggestions?

Wipers are a bass but there is also SM bass and trout there, here is a link to some info that might help:
