Catachon and I tried our efforts at Utah Lake. Water temps 39-41. Wasn’t expecting such cool water temps. No love from the fishes. One fish on for a short time. Quick release. Guess Utah Lake will have to wait until ice on. Good company, fun day. Give up around 12:30. My boat is now in sleep mode for the Winter.

Hey Ben I had a similar experience on Cutler Monday, it was cold and ice sheets were floating around and I couldn't even find one to bite... Had a full skunken... I'm done on Cutler till ice, unless it warms up again, then I might try one other spot in the toon, but I had put it up for the year, but I still may change my mind and use it at Bear Lake for White Fish... It's still accessible, but not as easy as usual... Boat might be better if there is much weather, however, that toon is great if it's calm... Later J

Thanks for the report. I was wondering how "cool" the water had gotten. They get pretty lethargic when it is that cold!
