this is what one spot on the snake river looks like on the bottom down about 30 feet

it is 5 min long video and 229 MB not sure if it will open

Robert, I was able to open and watch the video with no problems. It looks like you were on the edge of one of the lava-rock fields. I have seen the perch so thick that they created a false bottom on my sonar screen. We have had to move away from them because they would quickly strip the bait off of our hooks that we were fishing for sturgeon.
