Bear Lake Marina and Ramp Conditions?
#1
Can anyone provide updated information on conditions at the Bear Lake Marina? Just wondering if the ramp is clear and if the marina is open/ice free so we can get out on the lake.

Has anyone had luck jigging for cisco just outside the marina?

We are interested in launching Friday and/or Saturday. I see that the polar plunge is Saturday afternoon. Anyone know if that will affect the boat launch?

Thanks in advance for any recon.

Hey for the latest update on conditions you can call a recording at night after 5:30 PM at 435-946-8501, they will tell you all the latest info within a day or two... The polar plunge does shutdown the ramp for taking your boat out for an hour or so, so you may want to plan around that... There is usually a big crowd of folks that do that so you have to work around them... Haven't heard of any catching at marina yet, but hopefully by the weekend they will be catchable there as well... Sounds like the rock pile and off the pump house and deeper cisco beach are producing so far, but I haven't heard of limits being caught yet, just 10-15 per person... Weather report doesn't look too bad for Saturday, so I'm hoping it will be a good day... Hope this helps... J

Thanks a lot for the reminder. I had forgotten about the conditions hotline number.

I used to use that hotline for ice conditions but it’s good for other info as well. They do a good job of providing relevant information. Been quiet up there this week so I’d guess they’re catching fish. Hope I get to make it over this weekend. Later J
