That plus 200 days on the water (or however many you do a year) will do it! [sly] Go South.

The older I get the more I would rather be considered a good man than a good fisherman.

I need some braid for my new reel. Are you going to donate to the first thirty incher this year? If so I will wait a few days before buying any. Thanks in advance.

Yup, i’ll donate a spool of braid for the first 30 incher. It pains me to have to say that it will most likely go to John (Ahi)... again. But, in the unlikely event that you foul hook a 30 incher i’ll Get some braid for you. PowerPro is coming out with some 2.5 # braid that would be perfect for you.

Good luck!

I’ve got a spool of 20 lb spider wire braid I’ll throw in to the first person that can catch a 30"er. Or I’ll even donate it to you if you need it

Oh come on BLK doesn't hurt that much.

At any rate I'e got a felling that UL is going to explode this year. It has been 3 years since the south has had a win. With that being said, the line just might go to one of you southern rebels. Now of course This Yankee not just going to give it to you guys. I do have a new Kastking that needs filling.

Hey John, you’ve killed us the last couple of years and you are the man to beat again this year. Painful? Yup, but a lot of admiration too. Actually, I am surprised you hane’nt posted up a 30+er yet.

Fun to compete with you and best to you this year.

Utah Lake, 3-19-19, one 28 inches, one 27 1/2.

Had to stretch 'em a bit Jeff so if you see them a bit short no problem.

[#00bf00]Nice job Lynn, told you you'd get the big ones... Good for 27.5 and 28 points and just about the lead... 1/2 behind John... But put south in the lead as a team... Nice job...[/#00bf00]

John-- Oh yeah, I saw that toad you loaded up. Looked to me like he might have had an eating disorder. I've caught a few that looked like they had just eaten a football. Kinda makes you wonder what they have been eating. I caught one once that barfed up a mostly digested 10 inch fish as I flopped him in the boat. Good fighters.

I'd be glad to trade you seven fair to middlin' cats a day for one 30+er a day any time. Those big boys can really put up a good fight -- if I remember right???

Fun to fish with you and I hope to meet you some day.

Lynn

Caught in Goshen Bay today, 4-25. 29 for sure, maybe 29 1/2.

[#00bf00]I'm sorry Lynn with the picture I just can't get the extra half inch out of it... Good for 29 points... Great fish though, congrats... J[/#00bf00]

Perfectly satisfied with 29 on that one Jeff. It was a "maybe" 29 1/2 with a better stretch of the tape. Next step is 30 inches.[Wink]

Thanks Lynn, pretty sure the 30's will flow for ya... Pictures are weird sometimes... that 27.5" fish I entered last week, I just put it on my board for a picture of the fish because they look better on their belly's than their backs... Well looking at the photo after it's 29" sitting that direction... can't explain the difference, other than the way the tail laid out... Crazy how they can change an inch and a half... Later Jeff

Lincoln Beach, May 25, 28 inches.... should be good for an itty-bitty half inch bump. I'm trying.

[#00bf00]Lynn, where's your bump board? From what I'm seeing it's hard to get it to 28, but I know you and trust the measurement so it's good for 28 points... Nice fish... [/#00bf00]
