<br /> Hit the water Thursday night hoping to test some new water before Friday night&#39;s tournament. Headed to the bay and within a few minutes Dusty landed a nice 2.5 pounder on a crankbait. It was to be his night, not mine. Over the next three hours, Dusty caught 10 fish to my 3, and had a large fish come unbuttoned at the boat on a crankbait as well. I did have the largest fish at 3.8 pounds, but he killed me in the numbers game. Most fish caught in 6-10 FOW on soft plastics with a few caught near creek channel on crankbait. <br /> Trip allowed us to finalize what we wanted to do on Friday night.
