Lower Lakes Ice Prediction

Well round two of winter rolled in yesterday and single digit temps returned this morning. Looks like steam rolling off Mantua as we just drove by so today’s not the day but I suspect soon to see ice. What are your predictions for ice cap on Mantua? I’m guessing November 30th. Won’t be fishing it then just first tack over. Just as well be ice fishing if we have to deal with snow. Come on ice sheet. Later Jeff

Hoping for 4" by Dec 7 but waiting till the 14th for good measure. Come on ice!

Looking at the ten day weather outlook they really aren't giving us very cold temperatures yet... I expected after this snowy week that's on the way, that we would get a real cold snap, but maybe not.... Hope they just missed it and it really will be cold... I think your guess may be better than mine... Later Jeff
