It was mostly overcast out on the ice today but my face still got quite sunburnt. The worst part is my hat left the top half of my forehead winter white, and the rest of my face cherry red. It looks so funny I might have to wear the hat for a few weeks.
I don't have a digital camera or I could show you - Sorry.

A few years ago I was ice fishing at the Berry on a very warm and sunny day in early March with my my twin boys. I just squirted some sunscreen in their hands and told them what to do. One of them just rubbed it between his hands, put his fingers to his face and took one swipe down from his hair to his chin. Then next day he had these wonderful alternating red and white stripes down bith sides of his face made by the sunscreen on his fingers. Proof positive the stuff really works.

From all the ice fishing I have done this winter, I have the nice "lateral" hat line on my face. Oh well, back to fishing
