So how many did you end up with if you don’t mind my asking?

I am wondering if it’s worth the trip right now.

We ended up catching 6 or 7 i cant remember exactly. We probably would have caught more if we had the proper gear. We asked the people next to us what they were doing and they said they were using U-V jigs and tipping them with crappie nibbles. We only had one U-V jig and it wasn't a very good one, so because it was night, we didn't catch as many as our neighbors did.

Glad you had some success. I went into that area this fall searching for crappie from my kayak. I caught one about the same size as you guys were getting.
