Good day at Fish Lake

I ran up to Fish Lake for a couple hours Friday and had my best day there this season. I was fishing across Bowery Campground in 11 feet of water ice is 20+ inches thick there is no snow or shush anywhere on the lake. I was using a white tube jug tipped with mealworm,  I ended up catching 15 perch, 13 trout mix of rainbows and splake, and 1 chub. 

The biggest perch I've ever caught.

Fish Lake been fishing slow for us this winter. I finally galve it up and have started fishing Otter and Paguitch.

I haven't heard of a chub being caught up there in ages.  Hopefully, there are a few more in there for the macks to enjoy.
